Loyola Parent Teacher Association

‘The parents' association provides practical support to the school and regular events such as fêtes take place ... (helping) to build upon the already strong relationships with the school as well as raising funds for various school projects.’ Independent Schools Inspectorate Inspection Report 2010

The Parent Teacher Association organises numerous events throughout the year that help bring the school together as a community. An executive is elected each year along with class representatives to help organise and support events.

The PTA raises hundreds of pounds each year. While some funds are used for charitable causes, other funds are put back into the school. Recently funds have been used to improve the ICT facilities, provide a cinema projector and screen for the hall, enhance reading resources, purchase additional resources and equipment for the Practical Room, acquire additional playground play equipment and pay for the restoration of choir robes for the school schola.  A second hand uniform shop is run by the PTA for the benefit of parents.
