Religious Education

"The spiritual quest is simply that of recognising the God who comes to meet us, and of having a free heart with which to respond to that meeting." Bishop Vincent Nicholas 1993

The religious character of the school is expressed in its ethos.  The importance of understanding and applying moral values is emphasised to all pupils within a Christian context.

The school provides a course of study The Way, The Truth and the Life (CTS Religious Education) based on the requirements of the Curriculum Directory of the Bishops of England and Wales. This includes a study of comparative religion working towards an appreciation of other faith systems and traditions.

Weekly masses are theme- based and are led by each of the different year groups from Reception upwards in rotation.
